Training resources for staff in mental health, alcohol and other drugs-based roles

Queensland Health provides a range of training programs and opportunities to support workers, services and communities working in the mental health, alcohol and other drugs sector.

Mental Health Act 2016 obligations

An eLearning package has been developed to help authorised doctors, authorised psychiatrists, and authorised mental health practitioners comply with their obligations under the Mental Health Act 2016. All authorised doctors, psychiatrists and authorised mental health practitioners must complete the training to be authorised under the Act. The training is available to all Queensland Health employees as well as members of the general public.
