The Queensland Clinical Senate has established itself as an authoritative source of clinician advice to Queensland Health. It has considered many complex and challenging topics since its inception in 2008. Topic selection is influenced by current strategic service delivery issues that are of concern to the community, clinicians and health system administrators.
