The Step Up Leadership program is a three month state-wide program designed to meet the complex leadership needs of clinicians. The program focuses on developing and strengthening skills you need to supervise, motivate, lead change, and provide effective leadership within a healthcare team. These skills will assist you and your team in providing optimum patient care.
Clinicians provide critical frontline leadership and management in your Hospital and Health Service. Clinical training has focused on the skills you require to be a competent clinician but how much did you learn about leading and managing staff in a clinical setting, coaching and influencing for improved performance, and effectively managing your workload for increased clinical efficiencies?
Through the program you will discover your own leadership style and learn skills and techniques that will help you to lead high performing clinical teams.
